Welcome to our Academy!

Since its beginnings in early 1995, the aim of the Dance Academy has been to nurture and encourage young dancers through their love of music and dance.

Strong emphasis is placed on performing, because performing not only offers a great challenge and incentive, but is also valuable on-stage experience in front of an audience.  And it is wonderful to watch a young dancer’s joy and excitement at performing on a stage as they experience the ‘magical’ atmosphere that only a theatre can provide!

The Academy’s young dancers are always in high demand to dance in various local productions and over the past 25 years have performed with the Hong Kong Ballet Company; the Hong Kong Ballet Group; at the annual “Dance 4 All Series” of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Festival, at the Ritz Carlton’s annual Gingerbread Charity event, and at the annual Four Seasons Hotel Christmas Tree-lighting ceremony, as well as at many other events around Hong Kong.

In 2017 and 2018, our Advanced Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Contemporary students won the HK championships of the “Get the Beat” competition with some of them being crowned the Asian Champions in their Dance disciplines!
